THE TEMISKAMING PALLIATIVE CARE NETWORK WOULD LIKE TO RECOGNIZE THEIR MANY DEDICATED VOLUNTEERS WHO GIVE THEIR TIME TO ENHANCE THE LIVES OF INDIVIDUALS & FAMILIES FACED WITH CANCER, CHRONIC ILLNESS OR END OF LIFE CARE NEEDS. These volunteers help to provide Supportive Care Services acros the district in homes, hospitals or long term care facilities. Individuals who become involved and participate in a Volunteer Training Session will help to support seniors and those with cancer or chronic illness. Training begins May 23. TEMISKAMING HOSPITAL WILL BE HOLDING AN OPEN BOARD MEETING ON MONDAY, MAY 27 AT 1730 HOURS IN THE BOARDROOM OF THE HOSPITAL. The Hospital required that individuals wishing to attend the Open Board meeting must give notice to the Executive Assistant at 705-647-1088 ext. 2220 by 1530 hours (3:30pm) on the Friday preceding the meeting to ensure adequate space is available. Anyone wishing to make a presentation to address the Board is asked to first submit a request to the Secretary by noon, one week prior to the meeting.
